Enameled Doorpost Advertising Sign Potasse d'Alsace

This handmade enameled doorpost sign measures 7.7 x 23 cm, has a curved shape, and features two "ears" at the top and bottom, where the screw holes are located. This advertising sign is based on the well-known retro posters of Potasse d'Alsace. Especially in the early 20th century, many different enameled signs of Potasse d'Alsace could be found, referring to the potash mines in the Alsace region, where potassium salt (potash) was extracted and used as fertilizer in agriculture.
